Chicken Cacciatore

    Ingredients

    3 lbs. boneless skinless chicken breasts
    1 can (14 oz.) fat free chicken broth
    2 cans (14 1/2 oz. each) diced Italian-style tomatoes
    4 cups mushrooms, cut in half
    2 large onions, chopped
    1 tsp. garlic powder
    10 cups hot cooked spaghetti, cooked without salt

    Directions

    PLACE chicken in slow cooker. Add broth, tomatoes, mushrooms, onions and garlic. Cover and cook on LOW 7 to 8 hours. or until done.

    SERVE over spaghetti.


    Tips

    For thicker sauce, mix 2 tbsps. cornstarch and 2 tbsps. water. Remove chicken from cooker. Stir cornstarch mixture into broth mixture. Cover and cook on HIGH 10 mins.or until mixture boils and thickens.Serve with spaghetti, green beans and a tossed salad.
