3 Days in - problems sleeping

  • This is day 3 on IP. So far so good except I'm waking up several times during the night. Hard time falling back to sleep again. Anyone experience this?
  • Waffles I've been on IP for 5 weeks and have been experiencing the same thing. Perhaps some of the veterans can help answer this for us. I was advised to take a multi-vitamin with dinner - perhaps it's too late in the day for me - I just don't know.

    I'm on week 10 and it actually improved my sleep.
  • This is very normal, I previously did IP in 2011 and never got the "burst" of energy others spoke of and I am not a great sleeper to begin with and I was even less of of good sleeper on IP, as soon as I phased off it got better. The other common thing is constipation, never had it before IP and didn't after phasing, so don't worry, these are common side effects for some. others have no trouble. good luck
  • This happened to me too (combination of having to pee all the time, and just worse sleep). It got better after the second week for me.

    Burst of energy? THAT"S what's going on... I've been insanely energetic for the last 24 hours, and I've been trying to figure out what's going on. I'm about 4 weeks in (8 pounds down, 3 inches down from my waist), and I'm suddenly super energetic and back to my normal self. The first 3 weeks were really hard on me - sleeping wise, mood wise, mental clarity wise, etc. Keep at it. It gets easier.
  • I'm on week 5 and trouble staying asleep was very common for me in the first couple of weeks!

    Since then, I have found that I now sleep heavier and deeper and wake up feeling more refreshed than I usually do with the same length of sleep! It does get easier -- keep moving forward and just know that this is a sign of everything working how it is supposed to!
