Eating out

  • Guys I need your help!
    I'm going out for tea tonight and I'm on a low calorie day I still want to go but I'm desperate not to over eat my calories. I have about 500 left and there is a lighter choice pizza for 630 so I was thinking of just eating half of it.
    What would you guys do?

  • Which restaurant is it? You could eat half the pizza, that's a good idea. But if I was really worried I would get a salad (no dressing) with some chicken (grilled). Surely they have that on every menu? Alternatively you could eat the whole pizza and do a bit more exercise. According to what you've said, the 630 calorie pizza would take you to 130 above your 500 limit. 130 calories can be burned from 15 minutes of moderate exercise. These are solutions I would use.

  • I don't think half a piece of pizza would fill me up, so I'd want some veggies too. If my kitchen was stocked, I'd probably munch on carrots and celery while I was getting ready, and drink a big glass or two of water!
