Been away for a while!

  • Hi Everyone!

I haven't been here in a while and sadly I've gained a little ober 30lbs back. 2012 has been quite a stressful year and unfortunately I let one slip turn in to MANY. I had lost 115lbs at one point and now I'm in the 190's BUT I'm ready to get to goal next year!

January 20th will mark my 3 year journey to achieving good health and a fit/trim body!

I also have a new page I created on Facebook if anyone is interested in following me. I'll be posting my daily workouts, pictures of my meals, struggles, triumphs, etc. I'm really hoping to inspire people to want to become healthier and get excited about fitness
  • Welcome back Kimberly!!! I actually was thinking of you the other day Glad to see you around again....I'm still chugging along, even though the last half of 2012 was more sputtering and moving backwards than moving forward, but it's time to get moving back in the right direction.

So ready to put 2012 behind me
  • Hi Chele!

So glad to be back! I honestly think having the support here at 3FC helped me stay on track. I haven't really been going to my meetings, just a few here and there but not consistently like I was. I feel like I've let everyone down who has been following me on my Facebook Page. I am only human though and I honestly knew there would come a time when I'd gain a significant chunk of weight back. Life happens to the best of us... Time to get back on track tomorrow and rock out 2013!

    Happy New Year!!!
  • Welcome back, Kimberly! I'm sorry you gained some weight back, but I know you can get it back off again. You have lots of determination and a great attitude!
  • Welcome back!! Coming back here and looking for help and support is the first step in getting back on track
  • Welcome back!

I'm in a similar boat. We moved early in 2012 and had to eat out a lot while driving around looking at houses, etc. That was good for gaining about 10 pounds. That would have been OK but it took awhile to find a new meeting and then to settle in and that 10 pounds turned into 20 pounds (and the holidays turned that into 25 pounds...). Very frustrating but I know that I have to move forward and not look back...
