I saw this quote on Pinterest and it reminded me of all of us. Some days we struggle with our size and the long road to our goal weight. This reminded me that my life isn't totally about what I look like but more, of how I treat people (including myself) and what I give back to the world.
It's a sad Christmas Eve night over here in elvislover-land but this quote did make me smile.

If you all are sad, think of all of us in CT -we remained crushed by the murders of 20 children and 6 staff members at Sandy Hook elementary school in Newtown. It is a sad sad Christmas and there is no understanding of such evil.
I am just appreciating the good in my life today . I will continue to struggle with this weight but put in into perspective. Maybe 2013 will be the year to put the extra pounds to rest. I wish that for all of us.
