I am a calorie counter. I have been using a food scale to help with portion control. Yesterday my food scale battery died. At first I looked at it as a sign or an excuse to indulge in all of the Christmas goodies over the holiday. Yay! But I got up early this morning and purchased a replacement battery. I'm glad that I didn't use it as an opportunity to overindulge. No excuses. No setbacks.
