Hi!
I'm new here. I'm new to weight loss period. I just voluntarily met with a dietitian yesterday in an attempt to get a game plan to lose weight.
Turns out all together I'm looking at 68# weight loss. That's huge. I'm nursing babies #3 and 4 still, so that complicates things. I've spent years burying myself under the kids and using them as an excuse for the failures I was feeling underneath. I just ignored it by working harder for them. But I lost myself more and more. And I'm finding me, which is nice. I'm rambling now, lol.
I'm really hope to make this forum a home. I need friends who share my goals and fears and struggles. I will succeed at this; I will be here - healthy - as my kids get older.

I know it can seem daunting when you look at the big picture, but just focus on the immediate and before you know it, that bigger goal won't seem all that scary anymore.
