So my kitchen scale is dying on me, and I'm in the market for a new one! The one I have currently is a "Salter" and I don't plan on buying the same one as before as I wasn't entirely happy with it (when I set it to grams it would only measure even amounts, and would flicker between two numbers instead of showing an odd number, very annoying).

What kitchen scale do you recommend? My only stipulation is that it needs to measure in grams in addition to or in lieu of ounces.

(I'll also post this in weight loss support in hopes of increasing responses)

Anyway, it doesn't have ounces, only grams - but it's very accurate and measures up to 1000 grams!

I have the biggest loser digital scale and it will do ounce or grms and i love it

Escali! I got the basic version that's silver, but there's like 12 colors to choose from, got mine from Amazon and it's worked great for years- measures oz, lbs, lbs and oz, and grams.

Thank you MissyKrissy for posting this. Mine died several months ago and I have yet to replace it. I'll keep an eye on this thread. I know I need to be acurate with my meat and carb portions. i agree regarding grams/ozs etc. too. Thanks.

This is the one I have. I paid about $20 for it several years ago. I replaced the battery for the first time just a couple of days ago. I don't have any complaints about it.

Mine was about $3 from walmart, and i occasionally check it against packages with known weight- it's prefectly accurate. If you want to spend more, however, that's up to you.
