I went to Tim Horton's and angrily ordered a double chocolate donut. I felt like I didn't even want it, but almost that I "deserved" it (for what? being angry? LOL).
I vented to my friend on the way, brought the donut back to work and just let it sit there (very unlike me, usually I inhale it right away). I had looked up the points and saw that it was 7 points and thought I would eat half of it and give the other half to my coworker (he'll eat anything!
)I immediately gave half to my coworker and then let the donut sit for another 30 minutes or so.
I took a bite and realized, oh, it's stale and I actually don't even really want it. That would be 3.5 points that I would be wasting on something that wasn't even worth it, plus it would mean I would have to feel guilty about eating my pre-planned-points snack later tonight, knowing that I was going over my daily points.
So guess what I did? I gave the rest to my coworker who ate it up happily! I seriously am SO PROUD of myself I can't even believe it!

Just thought I would share. Anyone else with their own NSV they are proud of?
