For once, not cold--I think due to working out

  • I'm always cold, even when I'm overweight. I dread the winter. But for a while now, I've been pushing myself workout-wise--first C25K, then 30-day shred. And even though the weather is getting colder--I'm not! I never paid attention when people said exercising raises your metabolism. I figured it wasn't enough to make a difference, weight-wise. But I never thought about body temperature!
  • Working out will definitely do it! I am warm for hours after my TTap workout, it's great for getting circulation back into my fingers and toes when Raynaud's hit me, too
  • im generally cold all the time, even in summer....after a workout i'm warm for another hour or so but then i just get cold again...i'm sure it's more related to possibly anemia or some such thing...i think i'm just always like that

I also have Raynaud's. At first I wondered if it was a sign of another health issue, but I learned that the syndrome is not uncommon in otherwise perfectly healthy women aged 50+. Sometimes all it takes for my index finger to go white is for me to handle an ice cube for a few seconds.

I have the same problem. I am COLD ALWAYS. My BF calls me the ice queen. But i think it runs in my family. We all thought my mom's hands were always cold because she smokes, but my whole family has the same problem. There was a question if i was anemic but I never got it tested
