Hello everyone

  • I am here on a mission to lose weight the healthy way. My highest weigh is 214, I am at 197, and want to get to 128. Losing weight is really hard for me because I have Fibromyalgia, Hashimoto Thyroiditis, and maybe a tumor in my pituitary gland. I am trying to get all that situated, but it's hard. So I am here for support with a healthy life style, even I am not losing weight. It's really hard when I don't see results, it makes me want to go back to the way I used to be (recovering from an eating disorder), but I know that's not the way to go. I have been here in the past. I don't remember my user name though. I just remember that you all are amazingly sweet and supportive and this is probably the best place for me right now.

I hope everyone is well and thank you for reading. ^_^

  • Hi Curvy and welcome to the group! I don't know anything admittedly of any of your diagnoses but I do belive weightloss is good medicine for just about anything (w/exception of eating disorders) ~You're on the road to feeling better with your journey. Hopefully the doctors can help you feel better too. I'm glad you joined. Good luck with all your endeavers. This is a good place to be.
  • Hi CHF! Welcome back.

I don't know anything about Fibromyalgia or pituitary issues, but I've recently been diagnosed with Hashimoto's myself. I think there are a few ladies over in "Dieting with Obstacles" who have it as well.

Best of luck to you in getting your medical issues sorted out in a manageable fashion, and good luck with your weight loss!
