Can an IP "pro" look at my day and comment?

  • Hi all!
I've been on the plan for 3 days, feel great and so inspired. There is one problem though: my coach is a drag. So can someone with experience check out my day and tell me if I'm on the right track?
    Here goes:
    B:
    EAS chocolate shake, supplements
    L:
Salad+ 2 cups green and red peppers with olive oil, sea salt and apple cider vinegar. Plus a Tomato soup pkt

    Snack:
IP pomegranate bar plus an EAS shake cuz i was starving-supplements
    D:
Salad with 6 oz broiled halibut seasoned with Oo and mrs dash also 2 cups peppers, and cucumbers vinegar and oil as always.
    8pm- EAS shake over ice
    Am I eating too much?
  • Have you been keeping track of the times you are eating? If so, posting that will be helpful.
  • Oops forgot to mention that I've been having like 10 sugar free altoid SMALLS everyday- omg is this a cheat? It says 0-0-0
  • Try not to eat too many of those altoids at a time. Sorbitol, the sweetener used, has a side effect of being a laxative since the small intestine has trouble digesting it.
  • B:7:30am
    L:12pm
    S:3pm
    D:6pm
    S2:8:30
Just read that the altoids are a huge no! Bummer- tomorrow I chew on ice
  • You might want to work on your timings a bit if your WI results are less than expected. For best results, eat your first meal within an hour of waking up and then eat the remaining meals in 4 hour intervals.

Also, try to diversify your veggies a bit. It looks like you just ate 4 cups of bell peppers for the day.
  • The first week you are allowed the extra non restricted item if you are really hungry. It should only be 2 shakes and 1 bar a day.

I think Orbitz gum is made from sucralose, so that would be ok.
  • The first week is toughest, and yes coaches generally allow you to have one extra packet in the first week to help get you through - it looks like you had five meal replacements, so one more than you really should be having. I've seen folks with lots to lose be put on 4-5 packets a day, but it doesn't look like your weight/goal weight should require that much. If you get that hungry again, try having more lettuce (lettuce is totally free, I used lettuce salads as a snack a lot in my first few weeks), or a small omelet made from 2 egg whites to get you through. And LOTS of water! Hunger can actually be thirst in disguise, after a while you will be able to recognize "true" hunger from thirst or "mental" hunger.

Your food choices were good though, just be sure that you aren't using more than 2tsp of oil per day - it looks like you used it twice but not how much you used each time.
