My 3rd and (hopefully) final weight loss journey!

  • So, baby #2 is now 7 days old and I am here for my 3rd and hopefully final weight loss journey (the baby factory is CLOSED, thanks!). I lost the first 30lbs when I was a single young gal in 2004, then again in 2010 after #1, and now it's time to lose for #2! I am only 145lbs now at 5'5 (wow, how the weight dropped much faster when nursing this time!!!).

    Obviously it's too soon to count calories or anything but I look forward to the new journey. But that being said, I am also looking forward to lifelong maintenance

    Here is some shameless spam. He was 8lb 7oz and born after a 12 hour drug-free delivery (owwww) but on the plus side, I lost 20lbs this week and I did not experience water gain after any sort of epidural (which I did with my 1st, gaining 2lbs AFTER he was born, LOL)

  • Congratulations! You sound like you are on the right track. I had my second child 42 years ago without drugs and using prepared childbirth techniques. Definitely makes for a quicker rebound. You made the right decision - IMO. Eat healthy!
  • Congratulations Sacha! Though lengthy, I have definitely preferred less drugs than more. Quicker recoveries are only one bonus

    You'll get that baby weight off soon enough - just be diligent with your diet and make smart choices while you're still taking it easy!
  • You go, girl!! You are SO on top of it!!
    Congrats!!
  • Awwww. Congratulations!
  • Congratulations!!
    You sound like your on just the right track.
    I'll be looking forward to following your progress, to learn how to do it myself as I gear up for baby making in the near future! (;
  • Congratulations! He is beautiful.
  • Oh bless, what a cutie.

    Welcome back and best of luck with your final weightloss journey!
  • Congrats!
