How to get to Phase 4 by Dec 18

  • I'm going away for Christmas and leaving in 6 weeks - December 18. I don't want to be taking packets with me - I want to be completely off packets by then. I also want to lose another 3 pounds which seems to be happening at a rate of about one pound per week now.

    Any thoughts on how I can lose 3 pounds and be on Phase 4 in six weeks? I've also texted this to my Coach but haven't heard back from her yet, just thought I'd throw it out there to see what you guys think.

  • I think you still will continue to lose at the same rate in phase II, so maybe just start phasing out Thanksgiving week even if you haven't lost those pesky 3 lbs.

    You will have the added benefit of being able to have 2 portions of Turkey on Thanksgiving.
  • I'm in Canada and we already had our Thanksgiving, so I don't have that to worry about!! Yeah I think I'll start Phase 2 on Tuesday and I can always work on the last 3 when I'm back (and then some I'm sure being the holidays and all).
  • I'm a bit worried - last Christmas I did Weight Watchers before I went and lost 10 pounds, then gained 5 IN ONE WEEK (didn't even know that was possible). Then I kept on eating and gained 10 more over winter. I DO NOT want that to happen this year. It was a ton of hard work to get that weight off so I need Phase 4 skills before I go.
  • If you're following the program the way it's suppose to be followed, then just have faith in it. You can't force the weight to come off any faster than it's ready to, especially if you are following the program properly. You only have 3 lbs left to lose, I'm sure it will come off in the next couple weeks or so, as long as you stay OP
