  • Ok chickies, those of you who have been around awhile know I am on the same treadmill with 3 pounds ....so I am mixing it up

Today I started NRoL4W...and going to follow the exercise plan but still do ww but may add some extra protein like it suggests and see if in the next few months I can break this endless non loss cycle. Even if I don't lose if I gain muscle I will be doing a happy dance!
  • Nancy, what is NRoL4W?

I had a rough couple of days of cravings, but seem to be back on track. Yesterday was so busy at work I didn't even eat all my food I had brought with me for the day. That never happens!

I am in peri-menopause, but I swear sometimes I have days that feel just like PMS. I just can't stop thinking about food, even though I am not hungry. Tough to stay on track on those days.

Halloween went smoothly. I only had two mini Tootsie Rolls, and sent all the leftover candy to work with DH.

    How is everyone else doing?
  • At our meeting yesterday, we talked about what to do with leftover Halloween candy, and Judy - the number one answer was 'send it to work with my husband.'

We also have a dentist in town that will collect it and exchange for coupons, and other that will send it to the troops. Plus we have a local natural grocery store that will give you healthy snacks in exchange for the leftover candy!

Does anybody else have meetings that are suddenly busy? For the last 3 weeks, we've been packed at our location!
  • Hi, I was curious so googled NRoL4W and came across this book "The New Rules of Lifting for Women: Lift Like a Man, Look Like a Goddess"

I saw something on the news about different places like dentist's offices exchanging candy for coupons and such, we don't get trick or treaters, so finally this year I didn't buy candy for the non-existent trick or treaters, just a couple packs of mentos in case. So, I guess that's progress.

Hope everyone made it through the storm ok!
