Boy, it is quiet here today!!

Not much new with me. Never have much trouble with candy, I can definitely live without it.

I am starting to walk tonight. Tired of continually gaining weight, all my own fault. I begain journalling again and hope that I find the motivation to stick with it this time.

I have three weeks of school left, so I am keeping busy with papers and tests, then I have summer school which starts in 6 weeks.

I am using some of my vacation this summer and am only working 3-4 days a week. We are currently putting in a 30' pool and I am going to spend the summer swimming with my kids and just enjoying them. At times I feel so guilty for working full time and not being with them as much as I should.

Well, better get some work done. BBIAB!

Hi Tonya! Your pool sounds fantastic. I need to start exercising again, too. I haven't been doing much of it. The latest excuse I've been using. I want to join the YMCA gym, but I still haven't unpacked all my clothes and haven't found my workout clothes yet. Seriously, though, I can't find my shorts or the workout pants I have. I suppose I could buy more ...

I did not eat the whole Easter basket but I went above and beyond (or is that below?) the ears. Where is everyone today? It is spring break this week so my son is home and I kept my firend's two boys today. All I've heard is "Mom, we're bored....". It's driving me crazy. At least it was a nice day out today so they've been outside. I have been trying to clean the house and catch up on laundry. Is there any more to life than that? Me and my friends always joke about that. We have cleaned out Norman's apartment and cut out a large doorway from our dining room into his living room/kitchen area. We took out the upper cupboards in the kitchen but left the lower ones and the sink. We have been repainting it. We painted all the trim white and the top half of the wall is a deep blue-not Navy but more like Royal. On the bottom we are putting wainscoting and painting it white. And then (LEXXY you will appreciate this) we are making it into a bar. Our own, not like a real bar. We are putting in a pool table and a TV on the wall and building two bar sitting areas. That was why we left the counter and sink in. We also left the frig. I can't wait. I think I'll throw a bar warming party when it is all done. Hope everyone had a good Easter!

TONYA- We have a 24' above ground pool. It's not very big but we love it. We are in it all summer. Good luck on your journaling. I am having a hard time with it as well. I'm attributing it to the holiday weekend.
