Hi everyone,
I think I'm out of the water finally with the Atkin's 'flu'. Yesterday I stuck through it, even though that's usually when I give up. I think I have a deeper understanding of the biochemical changes my body needs to go through to transition to fat burning, which is why this time I knew to stick it out. But yesterday was terrible... I had the worst tension headache; stiff neck, back and joints; and was exhausted and achy. I made it through a whole day at the office plus a long meeting, but skipped the gym. I came home at night and ate a huge green salad (carbs kept within the limit), then my protein/fat afterwards. That started making me feel better. Then I took a magnesium supplement and my restless legs and tension just disappeared. This morning I feel brand new!
What was the 'flu' like for you, when did it kick in, and how long did it last?

It may be because I made sure I had 20 carbs.
