WF Peanut Spread - Satay sauce?

  • I'm not much of a cook, and with that being said don't have a ton of random ingredients. I have the basics but nothing out of the ordinary.

I've been looking for a recipe to make a satay sauce with WF's peanut spread. Easiest one I could find was:
    "1 T lite soy sauce, 2 T apple cider vinegar, 1 T splenda, 1/2 t garlic powder, 1/2 t onion powder, 1/2 t cinnamon, 1/2 t ginger and cayenne pepper to taste."

I have everything except ginger and apple cider vinegar. Think I could use regular vinegar (sorry, not sure what apple cider vinegar tastes like). Any other suggestions of what I could add to make it tasty?

    Thanks for any input!

Just type "Satay" into the Search Forums box and search threads
  • If you have any chili garlic sauce that is OP that would be yummy. I add Chinese five spice powder, minced ginger and garlic, sesame oil/seeds would be good. IF you have lemon grass or lime leaves (I know you said you had just the basics) green onions are good.
  • Thank you SO much! I made Chicken Satay last night and added Miracle Noodles, it was to die for!
