Yes, it is fairly similar, many people use the "alternatives" with the IP protocol. I personally order my alternative products from Nashua Nutrition. They are less expensive and there is a greater variety. Just make sure you do not use any that have aspartame. There are many "alternative" threads on here that have lots of information.
