Today DH was looking through some old pictures that we had on an sd card, and the whole time we were going through them I felt embarrassment about how much I had "let myself go" in the course of four years. I can't stand looking at those old pictures because I feel such shame about how much weight I've gained. I really want to be the person in those pictures again.
I've only recently started adjusting my food intake again, so I'm at the beginning of the journey here. I AM making changes and I WILL stay on plan - it's just depressing to see how easy it was to pack on the pounds.

Hi Krissy, I am sorry you felt sad looking at the photos. I feel the same way! Another way to look at it is to let the photos be more motivation to lose the weight. It's great you are making positive choices now, way to go! We're here to support you.
But better than when I was in college! Anyway, it gives me hope I'll look pretty darn good in ~35 pounds.
