Apple Cider Vinegar Working Wonders

  • I learned about this a short while ago. Taking two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar before a meal. It is said to reduce plaque build up in the heart, stimulate metabolism and lower blood pressure as well as a litany of other things. I thought like most things that this was a load of malarkey but it really isint (at least for me). I feel more energized and my blood pressure has dropped significantly in just a short time! Please share your thoughts on this. Have you heard of this? Have you tried it? Whats your experience with it?
  • Well ACV does help the liver which in turn helps everything else... including weight loss.

It certainly is something that should be discussed more... especially woman losing weight as we are prone to develop gallstones and other liver related illnesses.
  • Does that mean you just do two tbsps of it, like shots, 3 times a day?
  • Yes thats what i do, i actually use a shot glass and then chase it to get rid of that nasty taste! I am 20 and do an extensive, targeted exercise regiment, I'm not sure if that has any bearing to its effectiveness though. I just know that its workin for me! If you don't mind me asking what does your exercise regiment include??
  • I'm a graduate student, so am busier than would have liked. That being said, I usually get a good walk in several times a week (if not everyday), and usually one hike. I also do kettlebell exercises (from youtube videos).

Maybe I should try the vinegar- couldn't hurt, right?
  • Brickbat would you please send me a PM would like to discuss the apple cider vinegar and blood pressure with you.

    Thanks
  • I read about this, too, but have a hard time drinking vinegar straight. Might try it.
  • Be careful not to let it hit your teeth- they won't do well long term from that, but glad it's working for you!
