What are some of your favorite low carb meals? I have 3 daughters ages 23, 17, and 7. I am mostly concerned about feeding the 7 year old as the other 2 are usually on the run and fend for themselves, even though I have tried to get them to cut back on their carbs. I'm trying to find some kid friendly meals that might appeal all of us. Am I asking for a miracle?

My fav, would be mexi chicken on spaghetti squash......as for kid friendly, meatballs and stuff like that would work pretty good. There are alot of really good veggie dishes in the recipe section. My daughter doesnt miss her potatoes or rice when she is with me. Mind you I dont cut out her mac and cheese, its her fav

I have a 3 year old and this is how I handle it: I make rice or potato or whatever carb for her and dh, I just eat the veggie and the meat portions. My plate actually looks half veggie and half meat, whereas my dh and dd have three portions. HTH

I have not bought a bag of potatoes in 2 years. I have an 8 & 9 & 14 & 17 & 18 year old living in my house as well as DH. all do not low carb. Occasionally I make pasta with plenty of meatballs and sausage but only when I am incontrol ov my diet. tacos is wonderful I eat it like salad and hamburgers I eat sandwiched between letuce.

My favorite Low carb fast food meal is a cup of chili from Burger King or Wendys and a side salad. The chili at burger king is only 15 carb grams and the Wendy's is a little under 20...makes me feel full, satisfied and it's cheap and easy! Fast food lunch can be healthy!

Chicken wings (my own) and Caesar salad with pork rind croutons.

My fav low carb meal is zucchini (sp?) stew. I used to make it with pot. but I just take that out and make it with ground meat, zucchini, onions, peppers, and a tomato sauce. I use lots of spices and it is yummy on a cold rainy day!
