I'm not new at dieting, I've tried a few diets before which I've never stuck to, but in January this year I made a real effort and have to date lost 13kg (which is 28.6lbs). I first started counting my calories but found it a bit difficult to concentrate and keep motivated as I didn't have a proper diet plan. I thus switched to a diet called SureSlim (I'm quite sure it's a South African diet so I'm not sure if anyone has heard of it), but its basically a low-carb, high protein diet. I've lost 9kg so far on that diet.
The reason for my being here on this forum is because I have 8 more kilos to lose, and I'm struggling to keep motivated to get it off, due to having dieted for sooo long. I'm also switching to a new plan once again, as I'm tired of not eating carbohydrates anymore. I love carbs and feel like my body may have been deprived. So I'm beginning the Rice Diet - I started today. I'm going to give it a try and see how I go!
I'm very excited to be on this forum, and I hope I can get all the support I need to get these last 8kg to move!
