Help Identifying Soy-Free Products on Ideal Protein

  • Because I am an estrogen-positive breast cancer survivor I have to stay away from all products that contain any kind of soy. Someone here said she is on the ideal protein diet but just uses the products that have no soy. Could anyone tell me exactly which one those would be? I asked in another thread but she probably didn't see it.

I really need to lose weight to help myself from having a recurrence of cancer. But I've been having trouble finding diet products that are soy free! I would love to go on Ideal Protein. I bought whey protein powder minus soy so that I could make my own shakes. I know I can buy IP products on eBay. So if anyone can help me by identifying any IP products that are TOTALLY soy free (that includes soy lecithin) I would greatly appreciate it. I really need to get goiing with this.

Your coach has a list. Mine gave me one. Columns for soy & something else-? Gluten? Dairy? . Just ask at your center
  • Don't have a coach. Can't afford to go to a center. And definitely can't afford to buy the food there or the vitamins there. So I need help from someone who has the information. Thanks though.
  • You got me curious so I did a little thread searching - looks like someone posted a link that may have what you're looking for in another thread:

That said, any alternative products available for purchase online should be listing ingredients in the product info for you.
  • THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!

I should add that I had taken the time to call one of the centers to get information on prices, etc. and they are the ones who told me that the diet was more than 90% soy and so told me I shouldn't be on it. Someone in another thread said she was on it and there were soy-free products but she never said which ones they were.
