Perfect attitude to have! It's more of a guideline than anything else and they do encourage you to repeat days or weeks as needed. And remember, the point is to increase
distance, not speed, so don't worry about how fast or slow you're going. Just keep running and have fun!
(I bought proper running shoes part way in, too. Made a huge difference!)
