I don't know why ...

So for a long time now I've been hearing members of the board talk about buying IP foods or similar food from theproteinshop or shopforprotein buyproteinfood.com site(s) ... they seem to have several incarnations ... ?

But when I go to the site or sites, don't work. No matter how I try, what browser I use, etc etc etc.

When last has anyone used them?

Any advice - am I missing something here?

I haven't bought from them yet but have put a few things in my cart to buy soon at http://www.nashuanutrition.com they have a huge selection..i use google chrome

The site is not working today which happens quite often. I sent them an email to see what's up.
I'm always expecting it to be shut down but when I keep checking back it works sometimes.

I wouldn't give my credit card via email. When you purchase from a reputable company it's a a secure site and there's nothing secure about email. Not worth the risk. IMO.

And what happens if you have a problem with your order...just think how difficult it will be to resolve...Wow. I just talked myself out of using them!!! LOL

I've checked the site twice last week ... one night it was down, the other night it was up. I didn't order anything, but I was at least able to "window shop".

You don't give your credit card by email. Julie gave the email address so you could contact them with your questions.

I have dealt with them and they give excellent service.
But I expect the issue with the site not being consistently available is that IP is not pleased with them selling the stuff.

If you have a clinic and coach that you are happy with and the clinic is charging the standard IP price there is no cost advantage to using The Protein Store. They charge $27 a box plus shipping.

Actually I am not sure about shipping in the US.

But if you are at one the clinics which price gouges or one that never has the product you want available it is a good option.

It you do not have a clinic in your area it is good too.

If you goggle "plainprotein" you can find it today. Not sure how long that will work though.

You have to register with them but it is free. Their prices were the same that my clinic charged.

This is sort of weird, but I saw some IP products on Ebay. Probably not great for a regular thing, but maybe good for someone doing alternatives who just wants a few IP things.

I've never been able to get into any of the sites except Nashua Nutrition.

I have been extremely impressed with their service and the food I have found is about $11.00 a box vrs $37.00 at my clinic. Everything I have ordered is Proti-thin or Health smart brands. Everything has been yummy!!! The boxes came fast and all orders over $99.00 are free shipping. I was able to get 4 weeks of food for the same price of 1 week of IP foods.
