I've been looking high and low for the perfect dress to wear when I finally see my hubby again. We've been separated by the military for 16 months now. I finally found one that looks great, feels great, and goes with the red cardi I want to wear. Problem - It's Rayon... and I have to take a 6 hour plane trip to see him. Worth it? Will I be a total wrinkled mess by the time I arrive?

Anyway, could you change into the dress like an hour before the plane lands? I'm horrible with fashion anything, I'm sure that's no help!

He's come to visit, twice, for like 3 days... so I guess it hasn't been 16 months straight. It doesn't feel like that long! When I did the math I was like . I'm excited too, thank you!!!

I have two little kids (that I have to watch like a mama hawk), so changing is not an option haha. It'd probably get just as wrinkly in my bag anyway? I'll be lucky if I can touch up my mascara as we land.

I LOVE the dress. I saw it and had to have it!!! Thank you! Still deciding if I should wear a cami or be all risque about the cleavage situation . I have about as much boobage left, as the model. *Sigh* If only my thighs would migrate to my chest, instead!

Ooooh, ya the kids definitely would throw a wrench in the changing plan. And I didn't even think about it getting wrinkled in the bag. See!? NO clothing sense whatsoever in my brain!!!

I'd say that with the boobage the same as the model that you should definitely go risque!

Honestly, after a 6 hour plane ride, I can't think of anything that would NOT be wrinkled. I think the pattern will help hide it, and I seriously doubt hubby will notice the wrinkles.

I say go for it - it looks super comfy for traveling, but still sassy and attractive. And no to the cami - you're covering all your legs - show a little cleavage!

If it worries you, you might want to try a practice-run on the couch, sitting in the dress for a couple hours and seeing where the wrinkles are going to fall. I don't think 6 hour wrinkles are going to be any worse than 2 hour wrinkles (at least not with rayon). You also may be able to adjust the dress as you sit, so that you can encourage the crease to fall where you want it to - within the pattern of the dress.

I agree that it's unlikely to matter at all to hubby, but it might matter to you - so a trial run will put your mind at ease.

Experiment, success! I sat on the couch in it for a few hours and it's a little wrinkly but not overly noticeably so. You're right, the pattern hides it . It was comfy, too!

Now.... to find a bra to wear with it. It's low in the front AND low in the back. That's a rough combo.

Seriously cute dress! They make those convertible bras that crisscross your lower stomach or back. I've seen them at Victoria's secret.

You can always wear a coat......with nothing underneath ! As beautiful as the dress is I think it is going to be a little difficult navigating airports with all the stuff one must have just to be able to board the plane.
On the other hand my best suggestion , ignore all if us and do exactly what feels right to you.,

Haha... it's hotter than H#ll, here... and will be hot at my destination, too . I'm an old pro at airports, It'll be fine. I'm sure my husband would like your suggestion, though! haha.
