Pure 'Via (natural sweetner)

  • I was excited to try this product but found it to be sooo yucky!
Can anyone recommend a better Stevia-based sweetener?
  • I use Truvia, and find it much better than Purevia, but don't know if you can get that brand.
  • I use Stevia in the Raw. It is delicious!
  • I just buy pure stevia at the health food store. It tastes good and seems to me that it's by far the safest, most natural, least processed. I'm totally biased but I don't trust truvia or pur via, partially because they are patented by coke and Pepsi :P stevia is a little more expensive though... Go figure.
  • Truvia has erythritol made from corn starch, so I avoid it.
Pure Via is also "Stevia Based" and not totally Stevia.

I grow Stevia on my patio and use it for things like tea. For other things I use liquid Stevia extract, from the health food store. There's just too much junk in the big commercially produced powdered labels, for me to trust them.
