Another suggestion for motivation

  • For those of us who used to be slender in days gone past, I thought of taking some old photos from that time period and put them around different places where I can see them - my bathroom, the kitchen, my car, at work, etc. This way it would motivate me to get back into that shape again (humor me here), whether it's possible or not. It's a goal to shoot for. It would also help me visualize myself as how I want to be instead of how I am now.
  • Old skinny pictures of myself do the opposite of motivate me, they make me feel very bad. I definitely can see how it would motivate some people!
  • Whatever works for you OP. Keep it up.
  • That's a great idea! I put an old pair of jeans out and I would look at them every morning until one day, they fit!
  • Great idea! We all have to do what works for us. Good luck! I, on the other hand, have had a skinny photo of me on the fridge for 30 years. It apparently did nothing to help me! LOL
