Glad you cleaned up your hump day act, Taz! It sure was crazy last Wednesday and just too funny. Humping Day! It should be a statutory holiday! And why sew on a button before weigh-in? Leave it off and be lighter.

Gorgeous sunrise here and another beautiful day coming up. I ignored the bathroom yesterday afternoon and did poop cleanup in the yard. It's not my favourite outdoor job but it was a gorgeous afternoon and it's now half done. There is still about a foot of snow to melt and reveal a few more treasures. I found several chewing toys and a missing leather glove that Lucy snuck outside. Now I need to find the other one indoors which may have got pitched!

This morning will be bill paying and then patching with drywall in the bath. I can't believe how long this job is taking me. My left wrist is still pretty sore so I've been doing it on the installment plan. Never again!

How about a Western omelet this morning? I have ham and green peppers and the usual huge supply of eggs.

Wow, I've been absent lately! Nothing is new here, BF is more of a SH these days, I think all this talk of marriage has scared him. Hmph, HE brought it up! Anyway, it always goes in cycles, and I think he's PMSing. He's not the only one! Oh, the joys of being a woman!

Well, work is hectic, the diet is going well, no pounds off yet, but I'm being good. Crossing all body parts that something gets moving soon. Talk to ya'll tonight, if I have time.

Boy---all of us chickies are busy today!
My car went KAPOOEY--so my father-in-law is picking me up momentarily--have to go do bi-weekly cleaning at my grandmothers--then walk over to my other grandmothers and accompany her to the Dr.--something is up with her, and of course this is the only way I will find out what it is!! She is not being very upfront about it---sooo--here we go!

I am working on day 3 of being completely On PLAN!! never thought I could do it again--but I'm there--even snuck in some exercise this week--maybe some of these flabby pounds will move after all!
Great day here-around 65 I think--we may see a shower--but who cares--it's warm!!!

Good Morning Ladies

It turned out to be a very hectic day yesterday, hubby's supplies didnt come in because while he was still under the effects of the drugs he called and ordered them. Then gave them the wrong address. Soooooooo he had to go pick them up at the UPS depot. That was one cranky man!! lol

Then the fella that wanted the signs "yesterday" didnt show up to tell him exactly what he wanted. And then at 5 to 5, a fella came in and put in a huge bumper sticker order!!

WoooooHooooooo business is picking up!! Oh....and we sold one of our consignment photos (great blue heron) After all was said and done, the crankiness went away when hubby seen the daily sales

Off to another day ...hopefully just as good

Just a quick note to check up with ya'll and say hi!

Tomorrow is the big day and much pre-op going on! The surgeon was informed by "my" nurse of how terrified and apprehensive I am. He called me last night to see if I just wanted to talk. He's such a compassionate man that I know in my heart that with God in my corner and him as my doc I'll be ok. So, anyone up at 5:30 a.m., could you shoot an extra prayer toward this Tx girl?

Nope, no date set for me yet. I went to the cardio guy yesterday and I do in fact have a FINE heart. Of course the gal who was doing the ekg was telling me that all the gals in the office were doing weight watchers and have I ever tried it? DUH! Then as I am laying flat on my back getting wired up with my bra on she says that she knows gals that would kill to have a cleavage like mine and have I thought about having a breast reduction. I kind of wanted to grab her around the throat and tell her that if I let these puppies loose they would most likely flop on the table, roll off and gum up the works of her machine.

I have the mammo tomorrow.(yuck and did you know you are not suppose to wear any deoderant or lotion?....sheesh...my appointment is at 5pm...I'll be a bit ripe by then.) Next week I go for an echocardiagram and THEN I can call and make the appointment.

Little guy is home sick. Big kid has states for wrestling this weekend, I need a serious dye job and life goes on.

Peachy, isn't it amazing how insensitive some people can be without even realizing they're insensitive? They actually think they're being helpful. DUH!
I had to laugh yesterday when I went over to my neighbour's house. Her daughter and two grandsons were just leaving as I arrived and I was surprised when the older boy (about 5) came and gave me a hug. He's usually quite reserved but I guess he felt safe with his Mommy right there. Then he piped up "Mom, Linda's getting a tummy". Well, I've always been fat but I guess he never noticed or else he remembers when his Mommy was pregnant and thought I might be too. I just said "Thanks a lot, Jacob" and he seemed quite proud of himself for being so observant. His mother was kind enough to notice that I've lost weight since she last saw me...over a year ago. LOL Kids, ya gotta love 'em.
Well, I'm on day 3 of Induction and I have the munchies something awful. Trying to resist because when I snack mid-day, I'm not hungry for dinner until late and I'm trying not to eat late anymore. Gosh, this is hard! I think I need to get more low carb snacks on hand.
