Hi all! My name is Christi and I am new to this forum. I am a 32 year old divorced college student who has always been overweight. Recently I decided that enough was enough! I have done weight watchers before and lost some, but obviously gained it back. That was really "diet" that ever worked for me. I decided I would just log my food intake and count calories and so far that has worked wonderfully for me!! Yay! I also too a nutrition class at college because it is required, but I actually learned a lot and it has kept me on track during the beginning stages of my dietary changes. I have pretty much stopped eating anything white and I stopped drinking soda years ago and only drink water, or unsweet tea. I cut out most fast food and when I do have it, it is very rare and usually something like subway or a healthy option from panera. Just small changes like that. I try to make sure I eat plenty of the things my body needs and I view food as fuel now and not something indulgent that I gain pleasure from. I would rather experience pleasure from other things, like buying smaller clothes and feeling healthy. My workouts are easy for anyone to do. I do Gold's Gym Dance Workout on the Wii and I also do Wii fit sometimes. I started doing the treadmill again and was really starting to enjoy that, but it has messed up now, so I have to get that looked at. That is about the jist of things. If you have any questions or just wanna chat, holler at me! Good Luck!
Welcome!
