  • Might be kind of a random question, but I was wondering if any of you had a decrease in your shoe size as you lost weight? Mine has gone up by 1/2 a size as I've gained weight
  • Yes! At my highest weight I was pushing an 11. I wear a 9narrow now!
  • I went up a full shoe size since I've put on the weight. I assume they'll shrink again once the weight comes off, since I think my feet got wider due to all the excess fat.
  • Mine are much smaller.
  • I'd always worn a size 6 until I packed on the pounds. Since then I've been wearing an uncomfortable 6 1/2...and wide is more comfy when I can get the shoe in wide. Glad to hear my feet might shrink back to size 6 when the weight comes off because I have lots of great size 6 shoes and boots!
  • I wish but I think I'm still the same size. =/
  • I have lost 16 pounds and in the process my shoe size has gone down by 1/2 size. It was one of those happy surprises!
  • Nice. I hope mine does too. But I havent really tried on any shoes lately, so I dont really know just yet. I am not losing a whole lot tho. So I might not
  • Oddest case for me -- When I was about 12 I was bigger and wore a 9 or a 9.5. Then I lost a bunch of weight and went down to an 8.5. Then, although over a few years I gaining my darned Katrina weight, I never went back up in shoe size! I lost a lot of weight again and went more toward the 8 than the 8.5, then gained more...then I just lost 45 pounds and my shoe size is a 7.5-8. Insanity
  • Yes, from 8-8.5w to 7.5 regular.
  • I think I just went down a half size (8 to 7.5), as some of my shoes are slightly big on me, but I can wear them just fine.
  • I hope my shoe size changes! Right now I'm a size 11! They have some gawd awful shoes out there for people with big feet! No offense to anyone lol.

This seems to be me, but from 6.5 to a 6. I need a 6 in flats or they come right off my feet, but my heels in 6.5 are fine for the most part.
  • Of course, when you gain weight you gain it all over including your feet when you lose you lose all over including your feet.

It seems like we started out at smaller shoe sizes than a lot of people. Perhaps we didn't store as much fat on our feet? It's kind of interesting either way.

After totally replacing my clothes I am very happy I didn't have to go out and buy new shoes too!!

I did buy boots though, couldn't wear those before
