What to try IProtein but then I can't zumba

  • Hi,
    I went to a clinic and everything about Ideal Protein sounded great but the fact you cant workout is something Im not willing to give up. Its not that im a workout hound but i do take a mile walk at break time to clear my head at work twice a day. I try to do Zumba at least twice a week and my dog needs to get fast pace run or she'll dig or eat my shoes.

    Is anyone doing ideal protein and working out during the 1 phase? or can anyone suggest an alternate diet that will give fast results like this one. The doctor told me I cant workout because i would end up burning muscle and thats not good.

  • I have worked out since day 2 on the program....
    Because it is such a low calorie diet, they really want you to be careful. If you have been working out since before the diet, you will be fine!
    I took it easy (lite cardio only) for the first 4 weeks. After that I went full blast (cardio). The last 4 weeks on the program I have been rung 3.5-5 miles a day plus walking my puppy twice a day!
    You will be fine!Just watch yourself and don't overdo it right away!
  • I gave it 2 weeks. I'm back on my heavy work out regime with great results.
  • I never stopped. Just got home from Zumba. The first week you may find you are more sore and tired, but that never stopped me!
  • On the days you workout you will want to have 4 IP packets instead of 3 as your body will need the extra calories that day due to the workout.
