HI! Just getting started here! I'm excited to start my journey. I've already lost some weight since last fall, but now I'm wanting to really step up my game! I got a fit bit to track my walking and I want to lose more than 100 pounds. I've decided that instead of thinking of it as losing 100 pounds, I'm just going to lose 10 pounds-10 times!
Thank you. I've tried the whole just go at it and lose the 100 pounds before. I get overwhelmed and relapse. This time I have a new point-of-view and I'm happier with that POV than i've ever been.
I get overwhelmed as well.... I step on the scale in the beginning and realize how much weight I need to lose. Then I feel frustrated and defeated.... and yes, overwhelmed.
I know it didn't take overnight to put it on and it will take some time to take it off as well.
For me, I look forward to getting to the next 10 lb increment.... and seeing that 9 at the end of my weight.
Reward yourself with every 10 lbs you lose. Or you can do percentages as well... 5, 10...
