Today marks 1 month

  • I am down 15 pounds, and feeling really good.
I have noticed that I will have a great week, then lose nothing the next, LOL. Why is this? I have no idea.

I was walking 1/2 mile a day, and then went off that after the 1st 2 weeks cuz I something went wonky in my back (I have a bulging disc and degenerative disc disease) and I could hardle move. I kept up with my diet, so lucky I continued to lose. I feel a little better now, going back to doctor for another MRI in 2 weeks. I have made it up to 1 mile a day.

I am adding in some 5 pound weights this week. Low weight, lots of reps. Or at least that is the plan. I am just 3 pounds away from my 1st goal, and I can taste. To be under 300 again seems like a dream right now.

Someday I want to be one of those people who find exercising fun.
  • Congratulations!
  • Awesome!!! Did we actually start on the same day? I (re)started on March 5th! You're doing great! I've lost 11 pounds thus far so you're a bit ahead of me. I'm also hoping to make exercise fun again; I'm working my up with it extremely slowly myself due to being sick a good portion of the month (had both a bad cold and a bad case of gastritis).

Congratulations! Let's both keep up the great work!
