Losing the double chin

  • Theres been alot of talk on here about loose skin, but its mostly been about tummy and arms.
Im starting to see a little bit of loss in my face, especially in my double chin. I have been heavy my entire life, and now that Im in my 40's my skin doesnt bounce back like it used to. Im noticing that my double chin is starting to look less fatty and more like saggy skin. Im worried Im gonna end up with a big saggy wrinkly neck! Its not like the tummy or arms that I can cover up with clothes.

Anyone else experiening this? To those who are close to goal, did the chin go away without problems for you? I know everyones bodies will be different, but I'm curious how others lost in this part of the body.
  • I have lost weight before and my slight double chin (I don't have a big one) always went away with no issues of saggy skin; however if you have been "big" your whole life and never been thin then your skin might be so used to the extra weight that might be why you see loose skin. Have you tried doing daily self facial massages? It only takes 10 minutes and it helps get blood flowing and skin firmer too. Also, don't feel bad if you get saggy skin - it's better than being overweight and you can find solutions to a saggy chin like getting it taken care of via plastic surgery if it's really bad and bothers you.
  • The skin thighten over time after weight loss!

    Try facial yoga/exercise whatever it's called ! It's funny!
  • I've been doing the exercises while I drive. Other people on the highway probably wonder what the **** I'm doing. Hopefully it bounces back. Im too young for turkey waddle!
