  • O.K. Here's the next segment of 10 days in the lifeboat.

Remember this is not a "challenge" but a place for accountability to ourselves and support.

So what is your plan for this 10 day segment?

Join us doing our best to stay dry!
  • Here we gooooooo - row, row, row!
  • *snuggling in for a dry ride*

    Wow time flies.

    Goals are:
-eat 4 servings of veg and 4 fruit per day
    -stay within points
-aqua fitness 2 per week or alternative
  • My goals:

Daily vitamins (important for my health because of non-absorption of fat soluble A, D, E and K)
Riding my bicycle to work daily
Putting out snacks, lunch and vitamins during the week the night before work (ie plan!)
No vending machine crap! (I'm 100% on this since we began lifeboating!! almost 2/3 a yr now).
Keeping in a specified calorie range that doesn't go over 2300 max or 1600 min.

    I can do this!!!

    Hugs,
    Ratkity
  • My goals for this segment:
To stay POP on WW and to try not to use my extra WW points or if I do use no more than 2 a day.
Take my vitamins. I tend to forget.

BTW there are now 5 POP buoys + the life ring floating behind the boat. Over the last two days I survived a 2 day visit from a dear friend and an out to lunch and two out to dinners w/wine and stayed POP!
  • Got wet yesterday but did lose weight for WI. I got wet indulging in salty delicacies I picked up at the farmer's market like cheese and smoked fish. yum

Back on board today. I have the rest of my meals planned for the day.
  • Im here and didnt do too awfully bad this weekend. Yesterday was much better than sat.
My goals are to drink all my water...I have been slacking majorly!
get some form of exercise daily.
    eat my 1500 calories
  • Seems like I use up all the towel on the weekend - velcroed in.
  • Technically was dry yesterday but felt wet, lol. I used some weeklies on beer. I did get some exercise in though.

Plan to stay OP and key for me is planning light meals because breakfast is at my sister's and will include tea biscuits.

Will check in later and hope to be dry.
  • CANONBALL! *splash*

Sorry about the extra waves. I went in with both feet on Saturday with over max calories. Hit max yesterday as well. I felt like gnawing my arms off. Week before TOM this month has been murder.

    Still got vitamins in.

    Hugs,
    Ratkity
  • I had a cannonball weekend myself. I remodeled my son's room this weekend as a surprise while he was out of town. I painted walls, moved and painted furniture, sewed new items - that was great, BUT I slept at total of 6 hours, ran myself down, didn't get enough water, and shoved anything that I saw in my mouth when hungry.

I am sore all over, the room got done, and the scale only went up 0.6 pound - SOOOOO back to my goals of sticking to my points, tracking, and drinking water.
  • Made it thru the weekend. There are now 6 POP buoys on the line towing the life ring and I'm sitting high and dry.
  • Am I too late? Hope not.

-Take my vitamin every day (so easy to forget)
-Bump my treadmill workouts from 20 to 25 minutes
-Drink 3 liters of water every day
  • *cannonball*
Got super wet. Used all my weeklies but not over. I have the rest of the week including Saturday to get through. I cannot, cannot control myself around baked goods or cheese. Simple.
So no more good cheese in the house and I am going to have to talk to my sister about all those baked goods. I should be able to say no but cannot.
So climbing back onboard, tired and cold and wet.
  • Woo, new lifeboat! Back to basics:

    2150 calories a day
    64 oz water a day
    15 minutes exercise a day

So far so good on day one and day two looks to be shaping up just fine.
