If you had the option of spinach or broccoli with you for lunch? Which would you choose? What are some ways you would make it? I've been eating raw broccoli as the main part of my lunch for the past couple weeks and I would like to shake things up so I don't bore of it-- plus it makes me feel like my breath is awful until i get a mint or something.
Have you tried mixing broccoli with other veggies? I usually steam it before eating, but I'm sure it would work with raw stuff.
One thing I love to do is take grilled chicken with mixed veggies and let them all soak in a plastic bag from the morning until the time I eat lunch. Usually I have roasted red peppers, tomato, asparagus and the broccoli in there in addition to the chicken. At lunchtime I dump out the bag onto a plate and microwave it...very yummy! The juices from the tomato and peppers make everything else taste great!
I go with whichever one doesn't make me want to kill myself or someone else. Some weeks it's spinach, some it's broccoli, some it's something else entirely. It's all good.
