Ugh...working out today: Not feeling it

  • I've eaten well today and what not, but I can't bring myself to work out. I'm just so..drained. I think it's due to my allergies..but I really can't bring myself to do anything. Is that bad or should I just push myself anyway?

I have a cold. Everyone in my family is sick. But, because I didn't do any workout(other than walking and swimming) on our trip for 3 days...I went and did 40 mins at the gym(usually do an hour and 15.). I say...if you need the day off take it unless you think it will set you back. Then I say go do just enough so you feel like you at least tried. Sorry you don't feel well.

    Erh
  • Sometimes if you tell yourself to do just 10-15 minutes, you'll feel much better and even have a great workout. but, do listen to your body if you feel you need a break. chances are though, you'll feel better doing something
  • I felt the same way earlier today. My brother came in my room around 5pm and said, ya ready to go to the track? I was like, nah I don't feel like it today. My stomach's been bothering me. I went to the bathroom and felt better, lol. So I went and worked my fat *** off, haha. I think I overdid it though. I feel very worn out now and my legs are dead. I'm glad I went though. I just have to go slow. Having a cheat day, or a day of rest without exercise is not a big deal at all. If you think of weight loss more as a lifestyle, not just a short term thing, then you have to listen to your body and rest when you need to. So don't feel too bad about it.
