So I am 60 lbs overweight at the moment. Gasp! I gained some during my pregnancy and then more after I gave birth to DD( she is severely disabled). I lost 30 lbs a year after she was born and was on my way to looking like my old self. Then things got crazy(DD has a lot of health issues and we are in and out of hospitals and drs offices) so I ballooned back up 20lbs over the year. I am trying to get back on track and after a few setbacks I am finally working out regularly and calorie counting again. It took me so long to figure out how to lose weight. Previously when I was 125lbs if I went up a little I just power walked for a couple of weeks and then I was good to go. I never had to restrict what I ate like I do now. So I had to really learn from trial and error.
