  • O.K. Here's the next segment of 10 days in the lifeboat.

Remember this is not a "challenge" but a place for accountability to ourselves and support.

So what is your plan for this 10 day segment?

Join us doing our best to stay dry!
  • Life Rings and towels are in place. Dryer's all hooked up. Oars are polished and I cushioned the seats!

Hope in and take a seat.
  • I'm going to try to stay at my assigned WW points without using the extras. That's getting harder as my allowed points go down.

Yesterday was POP! Time for me to start stringing POP buoys to tow behind the boat.
  • I'm going to keep the minimum/maximum calorie limits. The limits seem to be working without me feeling deprived.

Still doing stuff from other boat rides:
No vending machine candy or soda
    Riding my bicycle to work
Being accountable here and handing out towels and tow ropes

    Hugs,
    Ratkity
  • I love these 10 day segments - it feels attainable

For the next 10 days I can
    * Stick to my plan and track food
    * Drink at least 64 oz of water
    * Plan out my menu
  • I am new to this segment but i am sure wud love it cos of the accountability factor. So, here are my goals :
keep to my maximum calorie limit on weekends and stay within 1400 cals on weekdays.
even if the whole workout is not possible, do something small, even walk.
Log on hhere daily to update progresss.
  • *settling in to these new padded seats, ahhhhhhh*

For the next 10 days I will:

Not go over the points I have but use my extra points if needed.
Go to aquafitness twice per week.
Eat 4-6 servings of veg and 2-4 servings of fruit per day.
  • Hi Everyone! I hope you don't mind that I kind of invited myself along but I have got to make some changes to my life. I get kind of overwhelmed with all of the info and stories here sometimes so I decided for now just to do the lifeboat. I have so much going on I can't keep up sometimes.

My goals for the next 10 days are:
Read the lifeboat thread and don't get lost in everything else (for now!)
Write on my new blog to help get some of these feelings out.
Climb the stairs (all 141 of them) two days a week
Try to drink less soda and more tea
  • Welcome new boaters!!!

Everyone is invited, even if we are in the middle of a segment. Just helicopter in and no jumping on the lump you see in the towels. That's sugarzombie hiding under there.

    Hugs,
    Ratkity
  • Looks like I got here just in time for the new 10 days. I've been sick with a sinus infection that won't go away, and after steroids (!) and more antibiotics, I think I'm finally back to normal. For this 10 days, my goals are:

    Average 2150 calories/day
    64 oz water a day
    10 minutes exercise a day
  • My goal is to stay firmly planted in my padded seat this segment.
Exercise in some form 5 days a week.
    water
    clean eating
  • Judy thanks for the new thread - the last segment sailed right by for me.

Let's all enjoy the deck and calm waters this time. Maybe a little deck party with some music and a little dancing for exercise.
  • Jumping In
    My goals:
Stay on program (WW) while away at a scrapbooking retreat Fri and Sat
Drink 64 oz of tea and limit to one diet coke per day
Minimize or avoid carbs after 8 pm
  • Well, I didn't post yesterday, but I did stay dry! I had to go back to work yesterday after a looooooong hiatus, so getting back in the groove of being there was tough.

Hope that everyone is staying dry
  • Okay yesterday. POP day 2.
