Oh yeah. A hardcore food addiction that was based on emotional eating, vast amounts of stress that made eating seem like the only way to escape, an aversion to exercise (in the beginning), a surprise pregnancy in the middle of my weight loss (he's now 10 1/2 months old

), and quitting smoking shortly before I found out I was pregnant--all of these things were challenging. We all have our stuff, you know? You just have to have focus, drive, and determination. Weight loss isn't easy, but it's so worth it for the improved quality of life! I just pushed myself a little further each day, and LOVED MYSELF enough to make it happen. That's key--if you don't care about yourself, you have to work on that before you can make any major changes. Best wishes on your weight loss!
