  • Good Morning, Happy Friday!
Today I start watching my Great Nephew from 8 - 5 (I will be doing this every Friday). This will be the 1st time I have to worry about eating away from home while on the plan. I have my lunch packed up and ready to go along with some egg whites in case I get hungry. The little man is 4 months old and such a cute snuggly baby, I am lookin forward to playing and snuggling him all day. :-)

have a great Friday everyone and STAY ON PLAN!
  • Wish us and me luck. First time away from home for a long weekend. Plus, we're driving a 51 year old car (Corvair station wagon) 442 miles to a Corvair event this weekend. I've got food packed and even an electric skillet to make omelets and pancakes and a mini blender for shakes. Should be fun.

Everyone have a good OP day and weekend. Hope I will have time to read some post at night in the hotel room.

Thanks for being there for each other.
  • TGIF!!!!!! YAY!!! I'm so glad it is finally Friday.

So, I'm like confused about daylight savings... Does springing ahead mean that if on March 10th its 6am, than the same time on March 12th will actually be 7am? I can never figure it out! 0.o

And I have been getting crazy snacking cravings after work. I think its my body hanging on to the carbs I was eating while I was sick. So from now on instead of eating like a psycho, I'm going to either have a salad or a bunch of water.

Does anyone have any ideas for bread? I've been having crazy sandwich cravings too... I can't make bread out of any IP products, and I only have blueberry pancakes and choco chip sweet rolls left... Hmm...maybe I won't be having any bread...

Ooooh, a Corvair event? That sounds amazing! My mum's first car was a Corvair and she still dreams of owning it and she's totally pass that love onto me -- I'm jealous! Good luck with your drive! And good luck staying OP this weekend -- it sounds like you're totally ready for it and I know you'll do awesome!

    Happy Friday, all!
  • Happy Friday All
WI for me this afternoon I hope for some rockin good news!
Have a great one staying OP
  • FRIDAY! love it. First proper weigh in and I lost 4.8 pounds. Delighted. 15 more for my mini goal in 5 weeks. My delivery of miracle noodles and rice arrived yesterday. I made a chicken, mushroom and broccoli stir fry with a dash of soya sauce and some WF BBQ sauce. Is soya sauce allowed? I added the noodles. Strange texture at first but got used to it and it was a very satisfying meal. There are 3gms of carbs per pack of noodles or rice. Tonight I will try making a sweet pudding dish with the rice. The noodles smell funny when opened but they do not taste like the smell. I have begun to try and track every single thing and keep a diary. What is the required amount of carbs needed to begin and stay in ketosis. I am doing this program myself at home so I don't have a go to person. Thanks all. Have a lovely weekend!
  • Good Morning
    Good Morning IPeeps:

Well this morning is not a beautiful as it has been the past couple of mornings. It is cold and gloomy out. But my NSV this morning has brightened it up so much more. I went and got out a size 12 pair of jeans to try on to see how much more I have to go to fit into them and I was able to get in them and wear them to work today!! What an awesome feeling. The last time I was able to get into this size I was at leat 25 pounds lighter than I am now. This plan is AMAZING!!!!!

Then I was at the convience store paying for my daughters hot chocolate and I hear from behind me "Ma'am those jeans really look good on you", I turned around to see who he was talking to and it was me. I said thank you and left the store in a hurry. I was a little embarrased.

Congratulations on the losses so far and good luck to those who still have to weigh in.

I hope everyone has a wonderful OP day!!!!

I think it is between 30-40g of carbs a day. I usually stay between this daily and have not had any problems with my results.
