PRETTYLADY ~ I love homemade soup; and find it very filling, esp for lunch. I put cabbage in my veggies soup all the time. However, I wouldn't want to eat only that all the time. Firstly, you need more calories than what that alone can give you. Nothing wrong with incorporating cabbage-veggie soup into your diet though.
