I have at least 1 restricted item every day since I started Ideal Protein. When I first began the diet I would often have 2 per day because my doctor thought I was heavy enough that I should be consuming a few more calories per day. Now I am back to having only 1 per day and I ALWAYS eat them in the evening after my dinner unless I have Oatmeal or Chocolate Pancakes for breakfast. I have lost 34.2 pounds in 10 weeks and am very pleased with that amount. So I think the restricteds are there to help us lose weight and we should use them!
