This is my first post and introduction, though I have been reading posts off and on since I started IP in October. The site has great information and has been helpful.
I am finding now that I am past phase 1 I am having a hard time sticking to the protocol of the diet. I see some threads about cheating, but I am not sure which forum is best for me.
I need support and encouragement for sticking to phases 3 and 4 -- I've been on the diet long enough that I am burned out and tired of avoiding parties and events and vacations and making huge sacrifices and drawing on all my willpower. I feel like it's just gone. And I feel so stupid for working so hard and now that I am close I am making big mistakes.
How big a mistake is it to cheat off and on on phase 3? I have a big event coming up and want to enjoy it but it is hard for me to get back on track after I cheat.
