hopefully not a repeat..

  • out pharmacy has a powder protien shake called complete casein. He sais is a much slower absorbed protien and recomends it over ems due to ingreadients. He sent me home with two samples here are what's in them:

    calories 110
    total fat 1g
    cholesterol 10 mg
    sodium 220 mg
    potassium 190mg
    total carbs 1g
    sugars {1g
    protien 25 g
    calcium 30%
    phosphorous 10% Zinc 4%
    iron 2% magnesium 2%
Ingredients calcium and sodium caseinate, micellar casein, alkalized cocoa powder, natural and artificial flavors, potassium chloride and/or potasium bicarbonate, medium chain triglycerides, salt, aminogen, acesulfame potassium, sucralose

Wondering what your thoughts are? It works out to be around the same price as EAS shakes. THank you all so much for your time I'm really hoping this isn't a repeat, I did a search on the name and came up blank.
  • If you like the taste I would think it would be an acceptable replacement.

I do think whey isolate?? Is supposed to be better absorbed than casein, but I am not familiar enough to say for sure.
  • he just said that this one takes longer for the body to absorb there for sticking with you longer and avaoiding the insulin spikes aspeccialy at night before bedtime..
