Hi Everyone, I have been looking on here for a week and decided to join because I can use all the support I can get. I'm married to a wonderful man who is very supportive, however he is not overweight and female and dosen't understand certain issues I have with this. He has always told me I'm beautiful even when I was at my heaviest back in 2008-2010. I was on weight gaining meds for 2 1/2 years, in that time I packed on 30+lbs, I got off the meds and have lost 32lbs since, however I need to lose 22 more pounds to get to a healthy BMI level. I started the WW points plus 6 days ago I'm going strong now, but I always fizzle out on diets and I don't want to this this. Thank you for having such a great support site here!
I'm doing weight watchers as well.....love it. I understand what you mean about your husband not being able to completely relate. I feel the same way sometimes and this is a great place to come to find support.
PBunny, welcome, glad to have you join us. I suggest you look for a Challenge or Support group to join; small check-in groups make it easier to connect, get involved, and be accountable. We have groups centering around specific diet plans such as WW, themes, or age groups, so find one that inspires you and just post to join!
... You are already doing fantastic, and have your plan set out. This is a great place with great people and lots of support. Just join in wherever you want ...
