  • I'm tired of being in pain, and tired of getting fatter. I've had 14 surgeries, and am on morphine twice a day. I need support and guidance. How many calories a day should I eat if I am pretty sedentary? I do have small children (5 and & year olds) that I chase around .. and a 4 year old grandbaby .. along with my two older daughers 22 & 24, so my life is busy .. BUT still sedentary .. I'm also on neurontin for neuropathy and fibro. I do drink POP :*( diet coke .. just wondering HOW bad that is for you. Also, I'm a breaddie .. I love breads, rolls .. I want to get healthier. Just had a HUGE health scare, and had a brain MRI for migraines .. and found a partially empty sella .. linked to obesity ??? I usually stay around 175 .. but have bounced up to 194 then 186 ... ugh. Help
  • Hi Sorry to hear you're in chronic pain. My pain began 7 months ago and just keeps progressing so I understand. I have been able to "manage" with Ibuprofen but I can't do much without my body screaming in pain. I have a 2 year old so I can relate to your situation. I am 253 pounds and I eat 1500 cal. per day, a lot less bread and a lot more veggies. I've lost 15 pounds in 3 weeks - been at a standstill lately because of a course of Prednisone though. I am hoping that losing weight will help our pain I've never heard of an empty sella being related to obesity... That is scary!
