Can IP reduce effect of prescription drugs?

  • I have fibromayalgia and seasonal affective disorder and am medicated for both. I don't remember having increased pain or anxiety the last time I was on IP, but this time around I feel really achey and my emotional level is not as stable. I am under more stress this time around with trying to sell my home and my husband has already moved to our new location for his job two months ago leaving me behind with our two kids.

Does anyone have any experience with IP or being in ketosis having an effect on prescriptions? I'm hoping it will level out again
  • thanks for all the views but I think I may have figured it out! The only difference between now and then is that I am now taking 1 PGX capsule a little while before each meal. I just read on their website (again, I'm sure I read this when I started taking them as well) that you need to take medication an hour before taking PGX because PGX will also slow down absorbtion of medication as well as food. I guess I'm never ravished in the morning, so I can easily take my meds when I get up and wait the hour then take the PGX just a few minutes before I'm having breakfast. PHEW! That was really bugging me!
  • Sorry no one answered, maybe this is a question for the IP thread. I've never tried IP but I have done Atkins. When I was on Atkins I felt wonderful, physically AND mentally (high protein low carb). Glad you were able to figure out what you need

    Good luck !!
